The dashboard ( or main BetGizmo window ) contains a number of defined elements that do not change. These can be seen below:

Main Menu
This is the standard windows menu strip that enables the following:
- File
- Exit
- Exit without saving docking layout
- View
- View the events market tree
- View the classic Betfair grid
- View the trading / scalping ladder
- View the InPlay Grid
- Open you Betfair account window
- View all current bets
- Help
- Check your BetGizmo version
- View your subscription details
Tool strip
This is an icon based menu that allows quick selection of forms for display in the docking window. The icons perform the following functions:

Login box
This enables logging into your Betfair account. Once successfully logged in, the box will disappear and the docking panel will populate with either the last saved forms configuration or the Betfair grid and events tree if it's the first time.
Event clock / timer
The event clock / timer displays either time till start or the duration the event has been in-play. It can also be configured to give visual and audible warnings about the event status.
Main docking pane
This is where the main functions of BetGizmo and interaction with Betfair is performed. In the docking pane it is possible to have many forms displayed simultaneously, placed anywhere the user decides best suits their Betfair betting style. When BetGizmo closes, the display configuration is saved and automatically re-loaded when BetGizmo is next run.
Status bar
This bar is constantly updated with critical information regarding the operational status of BetGizmo and its integration with the Betfair service. The following information is continuously displayed:
- Betfair username that is currently logged into BetGizmo and the Betfair service
- Available balance that the logged into Betfair account has available for live betting
- Errors that have recently occurred while communicating with Betfair. Recent errors appear red then change to plain text as time passes
- Time till start is a basic timer indicating when the event is due to start
- Subscription status to the BetGizmo service
- Refresh speed that BetGizmo last accessed the Betfair API
Betfair API access Betfair access heartbeat which flashes each time data is received from Betfair
