BetGizmo has a number of settings that enable the user to personalise their Betfair betting experience. The settings are divided into logical Betgizmo functions, these are:
- Betfair Settings where Betfair API communications can be adjusted.
- Classic Betfair grid enhancements that further improve the famous Betfair grid interface.
- Trading ladder personalisation and notifications can be adjusted.
- In Play grid visual configuration of bar display.
- Betfair clock where visual and audible Betfair event clock notifications can be adjusted.
- Weight of money calculations and formulas for BetGizmo.
- Miscellaneous Settings for those settings that don't have another home.
Betfair Settings
By default BetGizmo accesses the Betair API ( Betfair service ) as fast as possible. However, if desired, the communication speed can be slowed down. Placing and canceling Betfair bets will still operate at full speed but market data will slow down as selected. To slow the Betfair communications down drag the communication speed slider from left to right.
There is also a graph on this page which shows how often the Betfair API is being contacted by BetGizmo.

Classic Betfair grid
The stake size shown on the Classic Betfair grid can be edited at will. However, the stake setting on this page pre-populates the classic stake with any amount desired.
Data is received many times a second from Betfair so if it's important to know when the data has changed then change notifications can be set. With data change notifications the price or amount fields can be set to flash whenever the data they contain changes value. This can also be extended to the market depth ( white ) cells as well as the best price ( pink and blue ) cells.

Betfair trading ladder
The trading ladder can be further customised to suit the users trading style, with the following settings:
Bars and numbers on the ladder showing the current volume in the market can be displayed or hidden depending on personal preferences
Scale bars to is used when the bars are displayed. The bars can be scaled either to the maximum back or lay value currently in the market or, alternatively, scaled to the total sum of the back and lay values currently in the market.
Wager buttons or stake buttons can be set with default values, then when the ladder is displayed the stake wager buttons are pre-loaded with the wager preferences
Show last bet are indicators on the green price ladder that can be set to show the last bet if a trade is in progress i.e. when the net value is more than zero, continuously display the last bet or display no indicators

Betfair Inplay betting grid
The trading ladder can be further customised to suit the users trading style, with the following settings:
Bar price movement notifications enables personal configuration preferences for displaying price bars to be set
Bar scaling can be used to place emphasis the lower odds if required
Stake size used to set the stake that the In Play form will display
Bar bet request when ticked enables bets to be placed by clicking the bars

Betfair clock
The clock is a valuable tool that can be setup to further support the betting process:
Visual warnings in addition to the clock changing colour when an event start time has passed, it can also be set to start flashing a set period before the planned start time. This is useful for traders who need to be out of the market before the event starts.
Audible warnings can be set to sound to support the visual warnings. These further bring the user's attention to the clock and the state of play.
Event clock reset is often very useful to know the exact time an event has run for. The event clock will only reset if the event is being monitored when it goes in-play.

Weight of money
Weight of money is a very powerful indicator used predominantly by Betfair traders. If proportionally more people are looking to lay on an event the price is likely to go up, while if more people are looking to back a selection the price will go down.
With the weight of money (WOM) settings, there are seven formulas, any one of which can be selected to calculate the weight of money value and drive the indicators found on BetGizmo forms such as the Betfair trading ladder.

Miscellaneous
This settings tab is for functions that do not sit neatly in any of the options previously described.
